The founder

Hi! I'm Lee, the Founder of Squidge Monsters.

I'm originally from South Africa and I have always had a passion for child's play and development. Since a young teen, I always knew that I wanted to work with children; and for the last 14 years it is a pleasure to say that this has been my reality. As a nanny I have worked in South Africa, the USA and the UK, which is now my home.

I have always enjoyed messy play and since having my own squidge monsters, my interest evolved into the desire to start some classes of my very own.

As 2020 wasn't the year any of us had imagined, we took a different approach to messy play and in the height of lockdown my husband and I began a mud kitchen business!

2 years on, almost to the date we launched our very first Squidge Monsters class in February 2022!
